The various Indian certification bodies attest and certify compliance with safety quality standards and rules.

FSSC 22000 : Food Safety System Certification 22000

The Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000) for food and feed safety/quality management is an internationally recognized scheme for food safety certification applicable to all organizations in the food chain, regardless of size and complexity. The FSSC 22000 System was designed to provide companies in the food industry with an ISO-based food safety management system certification that is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Recognition by GFSI provides worldwide recognition and acceptance by food manufacturers and retailers. FSSC 22000 defines requirements for integrated processes that work together to control and minimize food safety hazards. FSSC 22000 is a fast growing certification scheme and has issued over 22,500 certificates worldwide.

Once a facility implements processes that address all the requirements of FSSC 22000, they can be certified to FSSC 22000. The certification program is managed by the Foundation for Food Safety Certification.

ISO 9001 :2015 : Quality Management System Standard QMS

ISO 9001  helps organizations ensure their customers consistently receive high quality products and services, which in turn brings many benefits, including satisfied customers, management, and employees.

ISO certification certifies that a management system, manufacturing process, service, or documentation procedure has all the requirements for standardization and quality assurance.

HALAL Certification

The halal certification guarantees that the food is unadulterated and is also prepared in accordance with Islamic law.

Halal Certification: Halal certification states that the food or the products are permissible for the followers of Islam and no haram product or procedure is used while its manufacturing or processing.

ISO 45001: 2018 : Safety (OH&S) Management System Standard SMS

ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance.

ISO 45001 is the world’s international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases.

ISO 45001 certification was developed to mitigate any factors that can cause employees and businesses irreparable harm. Its standards are the result of great effort by a committee of health and safety management experts who looked closely at a number of other approaches to system management.
